Boneetio Kentro Washington, 22 of Culver City, allegedly sexually assaulted and killed Eun Y. Kang at her residence in Venice. At the time of her death, Kang was four months pregnant with twins.  As reported by the LA Times:

[T]he woman may have been taking groceries to and from her car at the time she was attacked. A neighbor — possibly the landlord of the duplex — saw the suspect go into the woman’s apartment and called police, who arrested the suspect as he was leaving the apartment.

Tonight there will be a candelight vigil for Kang.  Washington, who was arrested at the crime scene, has been booked for three counts of capital murder, among other charges.
